CQUniversity is committed to promoting consistency and accountability by managing its records in accordance with the following legislation, regulations, policies and standards. These are subject to change and amendment by government and other bodies.

Disposal Schedules are an essential part of records management. Like all universities in Queensland, CQUniversity is a statutory authority and is subject to the Public Records Act 2002 as well as other State and Commonwealth legislation.  For links to the most current information please refer to the Retention and Disposal page in this site.

Any decision to destroy CQUniversity records must conform to the relevant disposal schedules and be coordinated through the Records Management Office.
