Dr Linda Keesing-StylesDr Linda Keesing-Styles

Dr Linda Keesing-Styles is the Dean Teaching and Learning at Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland.  Linda, a lifetime educator, is intensely interested in the learning and teaching process and the ways in which it can be enhanced for all.  She is currently involved in institute-wide curriculum reform, placing learning and teaching at the heart of Unitec's educational provision.  In scope of this reform are a range of 'peripheral' processes including professional development, student evaluation and peer observation of teachers, the practices of which are intended to enhance engagement and educational outcomes.

Linda enjoys cycling and is an avid summer tramper, immersing herself in the natural  beauty of New Zealand's wilderness.

Mr Phil AunglesMr Phil Aungles (to be confirmed)

Phil Aungles is the Director of the Performance Section, Higher Education Division in the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.  He leads a team responsible for Reward Funding and the development of a suite of Government endorsed measures of teaching and learning in higher education.  Phil has previously worked in labour market analysis, implementation of the National Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Program (NAPLAN) and student income support.
