Self and peer assessment is simply having the students rate their own contribution to a group task, as well as the contributions of their peers. The following video is a brief introduction into a project that is attempting to simplify self and peer assessment for CQUniversity teaching staff by integrating self and peer assessment with Moodle student groups. The system has been trialed in four courses with over 400 students during term 2, 2011. Results of the trial are currently being evaluated in order to further refine the usability and functionality of the system. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
