‘Communities of Practice’ (CoPs) are about bringing together people with common interests to SHARE practices and build knowledge. CQUniversity’s CoPs cover a diverse range of interests, and are cross disciplinary, cross faculty, and cross campus.
Being involved in a CoP can help you validate your own practice and learn how others have solved problems in a shared area of interest. Research outputs may arise from the group but research is not the driver; sharing thoughts, practices and ways of doing things is the key.
