EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM (Rockhampton Building 41 Ground Floor and Bundaberg Building 403)

The Educational Development Team consists of six Educational Developers, two Multimedia e-Learning specialists and five Educational Development Officers. The team works in partnership with academic staff to enhance the quality of learning and teaching through the development of academic skills and enhancement of program and course curricula. The Educational Development Team is headed by Associate Professor Christine Woods (07 4923 2593).

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) leads strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of learning and teaching across the University, and manages staff and financial resources to effectively support learning and teaching governance and quality frameworks, academic development, and student learning.

Provides high-level support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (L&T), including analytical, management, advisory and representative support across a wide range of strategic and operational matters.

LEARNING & TEACHING QUALITY TEAM (Rockhampton Building 32 Level 2)

This is a team of professional staff who are responsible for working collaboratively with academic staff to enhance the quality of learning and teaching through the development, maintenance, implementation and review of learning and teaching policies within the University governance framework, as well as development of proactive and innovative strategies and initiatives.

Manages the establishment, maintenance and review of quality and administrative systems related to learning and teaching, including identifying risks and future requirements and developing and implementing system improvements and quality process enhancements.

Coordinates and promotes the Graduate Destination Survey and Course Evaluation Questionnaires (GDS and CEQ) ensuring appropriate response rates are met. Undertakes associated data analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision making.

Marlene Page, Grants and Awards Officer, 07 4923 2370

Provides professional support to teaching excellence activities at CQUniversity. Works collaboratively with staff to ensure appropriate levels of quality service, building strong relationships with other sections of the University to promote teaching excellence initiatives and participate in projects and team work as appropriate.

Provides administrative support across the OLT, with a particular focus on supporting grants and awards processes and academic professional development activities.

Coordinates and promotes learning and teaching evaluation and survey processes and undertakes associated data analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision making.
