The Academic Registrar provides senior leadership to plan, organize and manage those activities related to student academic and administrative management, including the full range of student access, development, personal and accommodation services. Student complaints and student misconduct matters are managed through the Academic Registrar's Directorate.
The Academic Registrar's Directorate includes the Student Business Centre, Course Information Centre, Student Contact Centre, Student Support Centre, the student accommodation in Mackay and at the Capricornia College in Rockhampton.
Ms Lawrence has been with CQUniversity since 2008 and has held senior positions in a number of regional universities in Queensland and New South Wales over the past twenty years. Ms Lawrence holds the following qualifications: Bachelor of Arts, University of New England; Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Queensland University of Technology; Graduate Certificate of Management, Charles Sturt University; Graduate Diploma of Public Policy, Deakin University; and a Postgraduate Diploma of Conflict Management, Macquarie University. Ms Lawrence is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
