Attendees heard from the Alumni Relations Manager about opportunities for alumni to become involved with on-campus activities, including guest speaking and mentoring current students, and also heard from Dr Pramila Gupta, representing Head of Campus Darryl Stewart. Dr Gupta spoke about recent milestones and achievements of CQUniversity, including the opening of a study service centre in Geraldton (Western Australia) and the Research facility in Adelaide (South Australia).
Alumni at the function included those who completed their studies in Rockhampton in 1970 and 1980, as well as recent graduates who received their testamurs at Melbourne's September 9 Graduation Ceremony. We were very happy to have alumnus Des Pearson, Auditor-General of Victoria, in attendance, along with several alumni with whom we have only recently re-established contact.
