The following planners are to be used as a guide when enrolling in courses via CQUCentral. We recommend following the course structure listed in the planners as the advanced courses draw upon teaching and learning outcomes from earlier courses. It is possible to vary the sequence in which you complete these courses, provided that you ensure you complete all courses required for your degree.
Please note that planners are recommended programs of study for full-time students who generally study four courses per term.
If you intend to study part-time, you should select 1-2 courses per term in your first year. In selecting these courses, please note that:
The Faculty has no requirements for the number of courses that you study each term - this is your decision based upon the time that you have available to commit to your study. As a guide, we suggest that you assume that each course will involve on average 8-12 hours of study a week for an undergraduate student;
In selecting specific courses, the Faculty recommends that you select courses in your first term that you feel most comfortable with.
