Employment Conditions

Students' employment conditions during placement are determined by the employer and student during the placement appointment process. Generally conditions will be those applying within the employer's particular industry.

Employers usually pay students around 80% of a graduate salary. Further details of actual rates can be obtained from the University Careers and Employment Service.

Each Co-op placement is usually around six months full time paid employment however students are available for up to eight months in each placement cycle.
