The Maintenance Management program is delivered by distance education, providing the following benefits:
At the commencement of each term, students receive a comprehensive study package of learning materials. In addition, you are provided with access to the CQUniversity online learning system allowing you to access learning materials and other resources and to take part in online discussions with other students and your lecturer. Students will gain access to extensive information sources relevant to maintenance and its management.
All lecturers are experienced maintenance managers, with many of them currently working in senior maintenance management roles. The lecturers are available to provide guidance and feedback when you need it.
In the maintenance management program, learning by distance education is supported by a dedicated non-compulsory two-day residential school for each course.
The residential schools provide an opportunity for students to meet the lecturer and other students in an environment where they will have access to further information and resources related to maintenance and its management. The schools cover the concepts of the course in greater detail and provide additional opportunity for discussion and syndicate work using industry-based case studies.
The CQUniversity Maintenance Management program has two annual intakes which provides flexibility in timing the start of studies. This allows both students and organisations the ability to match study commitments with their workload obligations. Each study period (Term) lasts 12 weeks.
