The Studies in Learning, Evaluation, Innovation and Development Journal, SLEID, is a scholarly, peer-reviewed, international journal that supports emerging scholars and the development of evidence-based practice. SLEID publishes research and scholarship about teaching and learning in formal, semi-formal and informal educational settings and sites. It is published by the Learning, Evaluation, Innovation and Development Centre in the Division of Teaching and Learning Services at Central Queensland University, Australia, and was established in 2004. The journal is interested in publishing research that explores education that is multidisciplinary, multimodal and multisectoral in character - and that is also formal and informal, lifelong and lifewide, and liable to contribute to sociocultural resistance and transformation.

The project, REACT, is associated with the SLEID Journal.
The three core principles of the REACT Project are motivation, research and collaboration. Based on these principles, a process has been designed to help in the development of papers describing innovations in learning and teaching that are based on research, informed by multiple perspectives and evaluated. Two important aspects of this process are the use of collaborative writer's workshops and a structured format for the papers that are written.
