Committees & Meetings

The IHSSR holds regular meetings throughout the year.

The Management Committee is made up of the Institute's Director (who also acts as Chair), the Deputy Director, directors of various research centres/groups, elected representatives, other members important to the IHSSR's research profile plus the science communicator (minutes secretary). Unless otherwise directed, IHSSR members have the right to attend all meetings.

2012 IHSSR Management Committee Schedule & Reports

An Advisory Board was established in April 2010 to advise the Management Committee on matters relating to the operations and strategems of the IHSSR. This board is made up of equal numbers of external stakeholders and members drawn from the IHSSR executive. From 2012, the Advisory Board will meet annually.

Research Meetings

IHSSR Research Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month unless otherwise advised. Such meetings are open to all IHSSR RHD students, members and staff.

The meetings are hosted on Rockhampton campus with links to other centres.
