CQUniversity is dedicated to supporting you throughout your tertiary study. One of our ways of doing so is through our scholarships, awards and the financial assistance programs.
The University offers a range of scholarships and academic awards through its two faculties, Faculty of Arts, Business, Informatics and Education and Faculty of Science, Engineering and Health. Academic excellence and equity scholarships are offered. Equity scholarships are available to those from a low socio-economic backgrounds as well as those who fulfill other equity criteria.
Accommodation scholarships are awarded to commencing students from low socio-economic backgrounds, intending to reside at The Capricornia College Rockhampton and Mackay Student Accommodation for the entire academic year.
Accommodation scholarships are also available to new international students who enrol in a formal program of study at CQUniversity Rockhampton. The accommodation scholarships are available for the first term of study at CQUniversity’s residential college, The Capricornia College.
Many CQUniversity scholarships and academic awards are established by individuals and organisations within our community who feel passionate about enabling students to achieve a tertiary education.
CQUniversity provides you with access to a range of equity scholarships and financial assistance. This support is offered to students from recognised equity groups, including those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, indigenous students and those who come from a rural or isolated area.
CQUniversity’s Vice-Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarship recognises and rewards high achieving students who achieve an OP1 or OP2 or OP3 or equivalent selection rank. We offer successful applicants the chance to study their degree at CQUniversity and be rewarded by the University covering the cost of tuition fees. Applications now closed.
CQUniversity Gold Coast, Sydney and Rockhampton offer scholarships to all new international undergraduate students who meet the academic criteria.
