Tourism at CQUniversity

CQUniversity's Bachelor of Tourism is designed to offer you the body of knowledge and the skills set to enter the expanding international tourism industry. Our industry-leading academics will develop your expertise in areas such as events, special interest tourism, nature-based tourism and resort and hotel management. In addition, you will learn key foundations of marketing and communications strategy essential to government tourism organisations. The new Bachelor of Business (Tourism) will develop knowledge and skills in the broad discipline of tourism and marketing. The Bachelor of Tourism and the Bachelor of Business (Tourism) will allow you to seek a career in a variety of areas in the industry including hotel and resort management, marketing, business, event management and planning and more.

CQU's two lead tourism lecturers are members of the 'Global Panel of Tourism Experts' appointed by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation to give strategic policy advise on international tourism issues.

Both of these new programs are offered at CQUniversity Mackay and Noosa and also by distance education allowing you to study at a place and time that suits you.
