Rockhampton Campus

Rockhampton with a population of 114, 000, is located 633km north of Brisbane. It is the ideal location where the bush meets the sea. Nearby beachside communities at Yeppoon and Emu Park are a short drive away by car or public bus service and are popular with commuters and students. The nearby islands of the Great Barrier Reef, and a sub-tropical climate attracts tourists from Europe, Asia and southern Australia.

CQUniversity Rockhampton offers a diverse range of programs and study options. Program areas on offer include creative and performing arts, business, engineering and built environment, science and the environment, medical, health and recreation, information technology and education. We also provide a range of support services to distance education students and on-campus students, including careers advice, counselling, academic support and many more. Students have access to seven computer labs and wireless internet access, allowing you to access the internet from any location while on campus. Computer labs can be accessed 24 hours a day, with some available only at designated timeframes. In your free time make use of the 25 metre swimming pool, athletics oval and well equipped gymnasium. The Capricornia College is located at Rockhampton campus and provides accommodation for 320 students, for more information on accommodation.
